A Case of Endolymphatic Stromal Myosis of Corpus Uteri

Abstract

|
Endometrial stromal sarcomas are rare tumors cumposed of cell closely resembling the stromal cell of proliferative stage of the endometrium.
This tumor is classified into histologically low-grade stromal sarcoma, also known as endolymphatic stromal myosis, and high grade stromal sarcoma by mitotic count.
While the high grade stromal sarcoma has poor morbid clinical course, the endolym phatic stromal myosis usally followas an indolent course and have a low motality rate.
We experienced a case of uterine endolymphatic stromal myosis occurred in 40 years old woman, which tumor had grown in polyp from lower uterine body and protruded on uterine cervix. The pronounced adenomyosis was associated.
